This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Comprehend the overall landscape of the Life Science and/or Non-Life Science (Specialty Chemical, Food, etc.) sectors.
• Identify mid-market accounts within your territory that could benefit from our solutions.
• Possess a HUNTER mindset – including account planning, prospecting, lead qualification, and the development of new business.
• Grasp your accounts' critical business opportunities and challenges as they pertain to our solutions.
• Recognize key decision-makers and establish robust relationships within your client base.
• Create and deliver sales presentations that convey the business and economic value of our solutions to clients.
• Develop a substantial sales pipeline.
• Oversee the software sales cycle from opportunity recognition to contract finalization.
• Negotiate intricate software and service agreements.
• Prepare precise sales forecasts and sales cycle reports.
• Capable of preparing, organizing, and directing pre-sales and consulting resources.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in selling enterprise software to enterprise accounts.
• At least 5 years' experience selling to both business users and IT departments.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• General familiarity with the Life Science Industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of business intelligence or analytics is desirable, though not essential.
• Proven success in business development and the ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing sales quotas.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Capability to present solutions from a business benefits perspective.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Previous training in sales methodologies with solid customer references.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
