Territory Account Manager, Motion Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• The Territory Account Manager - Service North Central will oversee the planning and implementation of MOSE (Motion Business - Motion Service) Drives Service sales strategies within their designated territory in the United States.

• The main responsibilities entail executing service sales plans and driving sales growth to meet service sales objectives specifically for the Drives Equipment Service team.

• Collaborate across functions with internal sales and marketing teams, as well as external channel distribution partners, to expand the service market for ABB Drives Service Division and identify service sales opportunities in the assigned territory for Drives Services.

• Engage with the existing customer base to deliver optimal service solutions in various service vertical markets related to VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Service within the designated territory.

• Attain targeted sales and profitability levels in current markets while also penetrating new markets to achieve sales growth and profit goals.

• Track progress against defined strategic and operational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in a technical sales role, OR an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field with 10 years of technical sales experience, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years of experience in a technical sales position.

• Experience in Business to Business sales, specifically in selling Industrial Automation and/or Motion Control Products.

• Familiarity with variable frequency drives, electric motors, and their applications.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with a CRM system (Salesforce preferred).

• This role requires 70% domestic travel and a valid US Driver’s License.

• Candidates must possess a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the US.
