• The Territory/Account Manager (TAM) - Sports Optics is tasked with overseeing the sales and retail distribution initiatives for ZEISS Sports Optics within a designated territory.
• A solid comprehension of various rifle types and their specific applications is essential.
• Knowledge of ammunition and ballistics, along with their significance, is required.
• Familiarity with birding is considered a plus.
• Understanding optics is highly desirable.
• Strategic planning for account management to maximize each client's potential is crucial.
• Responsibilities include goal setting, forecasting, support planning, and execution.
• A strong capability to manage relationships both remotely and in-person is necessary.
• Extensive travel is anticipated; a valid passport is required.
• Effective communication skills are vital—both internal and external, in written and verbal forms.
• Training others is a key aspect of the role, highlighting the ability and willingness to educate.
• Presentation skills, including qualifying, presenting solutions, closing deals, and conducting product demonstrations, are essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct account management experience is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is highly preferred.
