Termite Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assess customers' termite issues and establish corrective measures based on termite behavior and habits.

• Execute termite treatment services safely in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.

• Administer anti-termite treatments to structures following schedules, safety protocols, and label directions.

• Inform customers about conditions conducive to termite infestations, treatment procedures, and necessary structural changes.

• Ensure that job specifications meet the requirements for each work order.

• Operate and maintain service vehicles and related equipment.

• Complete production documentation detailing the services rendered.

• Engage with customers to explain the services provided.

• Prepare job sites for treatment applications.

• Conduct work in customer residences, properties, and business locations, often with minimal supervision.

• Handle regulated chemicals and company equipment safely.

• Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and customers to resolve any conflicts or disputes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service is preferred.

• Experience in termite control is advantageous.

• A clean-shaven face is necessary for respirator safety.

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn are essential.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.

• Basic math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Capability to follow product-label mixing instructions accurately.

• Ability to endure seasonal weather conditions and work in damp and dusty environments.

• Must be able to work at heights, including up to 20 feet on a ladder.

• Ability to navigate confined spaces, narrow aisles, and passageways.

• Requirement to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator.

• Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, and to climb various structures, stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

• Must regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move up and down stairs and ladders.

• Licenses/certificates must meet federal, state, and/or local regulations.

• Must safely operate a vehicle on public roadways.

• Ability to resolve conflicts and disputes in a non-violent and non-disruptive manner is necessary.
