This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the technical specification of projects by establishing the technical requirements and architecture for DCS/SCADA and automation frameworks.
• Act as the technical authority throughout the tender process.
• Specify the technical requirements for substation communication protocols, such as DNP3 and IEC61850.
• Maintain the technical Risk & Opportunity (R&O) register.
• Serve as the internal expert on system design, offering guidance to interdisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in the design and architecture of protection & control schemes, SCADA systems, and substation automation.
• Knowledge of substation communication protocols (e.g., DNP3/IEC61850) and principles of IED/relay applications.
• Proven ability to utilize Visio for creating conceptual engineering drawings, network architecture diagrams, and system layouts.
• Ability to evaluate technical specifications and convert them into effective, actionable project execution strategies for the tender phase.
