ECM Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and transition customer document management systems to NetDocuments utilizing SQL-driven ETL.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect requirements.

• Take ownership of NetDocuments implementations and carry out document migrations and ETL processes.

• Convert business and DMS requirements into system configurations and migration strategies.

• Detect and address challenges related to data, integration, configuration, and workflows.

• Employ ETL methods to transfer data from OpenText eDOCS, iManage, and other DMS platforms to NetDocuments.

• Design, set up, and migrate customer document management environments.

• Conduct data extraction, conversions, mergers, and migrations across various DMS instances using SQL, Oracle, and PowerShell.

• Work alongside colleagues to establish DMS standards, execute best practices, and manage, optimize, and troubleshoot systems.

• Offer technical guidance to clients.

• Partner with cross-functional teams and Project Managers for project execution, time and cost estimation.

• Balance competing priorities while ensuring timely delivery of work within budget and according to specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL or Oracle scripting, particularly with complex data sets and data extraction, transformation, and migration.

• Previous experience with document management systems, including system design, configuration, implementation, or migration projects.

• Skilled in translating business and technical requirements into application designs, system configurations, and implementation plans.

• Capable of troubleshooting data, application, integration, and workflow problems.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with NetDocuments, OpenText eDOCS, iManage, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is preferred.

• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools is preferred.

• Experience in administering, configuring, optimizing, or troubleshooting DMS in client-facing settings is preferred.

• Understanding of software integrations and multiple application or DMS instances is preferred.

• Previous experience in professional services or consulting is preferred.
