Telephonic Case Manager, Bilingual Spanish, CA License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, plan, implement, coordinate, and assess service options for injured employees.

• Support injured employees in obtaining suitable, cost-effective medical treatment and facilitate their return to work.

• Liaise with medical providers, employers, injured workers, and claims examiners.

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments and identify patient needs.

• Review and analyze medical correspondence, provider reports, and treatment history.

• Assess claimants’ clinical conditions and explore alternative treatment options as necessary.

• Organize approved transportation, care, procedures, medications, equipment, supplies, and home care services.

• Evaluate therapy facilities and oversee patient care plans and progress in therapy.

• Compile detailed case-file notes and discuss care plans with insurance representatives prior to execution.

• Coordinate communication among injured workers, physicians, employers, therapists, attorneys, and other service providers.

• Monitor and adjust care plans as the needs of patients and physicians evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.

• 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse outside of academic training.

• Active CA RN license in good standing with no restrictions.

• Valid RN license in the relevant state, in good standing with no restrictions.

• Professional and technical competencies of a Registered Nurse.

• Experience in Case Management.

• Workers' Compensation experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience in Home Health Care or Occupational Health is considered advantageous.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.

• High proficiency with computers and software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and email.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
