Telephone Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound fundraising calls to secure pledges for client initiatives.

• Adhere to the messaging approved by the client during each call.

• Implement the structured approach for fundraising calls, including suitable political justifications and transition phrases as necessary.

• Engage in responsive listening to provide contextually appropriate replies.

• Achieve and uphold project objectives and efficiency standards.

• Maintain an occupancy ratio of 85%. (Occupancy is calculated as Logged Hours divided by Payroll Hours.)

• Ensure 95% punctuality (both at the start of shifts and returning from breaks and lunch).

• Achieve 95% shift adherence with minimal absenteeism.

• Exhibit outstanding customer service and respond promptly to the individual being contacted.

• Embrace coaching and feedback with a constructive mindset.

• Present a professional demeanor and appearance.

• Remain focused on the current project and prepare adequately for each call.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.

• Full-time day shift work is required from Monday to Friday.

• Additional shifts may be necessary during peak busy periods.

• Employment must be conducted within the continental United States.

• Candidates must possess their own computer that meets system specifications, a USB headset, a web camera, and a wired internet connection (Wi-Fi is not acceptable).

• A quiet, uninterrupted workspace is essential for ensuring professional interactions with clients.

• A successful background check is mandatory.

• Integrity regarding Identity, Voice, and Appearance is crucial. To ensure transparency, security, and professionalism while conducting company business, the use of identity masking or anonymization technology is strictly forbidden.

• Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal communication is vital for telephone fundraisers, who must articulate their message clearly, actively listen to donors, and respond suitably.

• Voice Clarity and Tone: Telephone fundraisers should possess a pleasant and engaging voice with good pronunciation and diction.

• Stamina: Telephone fundraisers need to endure long hours on the phone, making numerous calls throughout their shifts. They should have the physical stamina to sustain energy and enthusiasm during extended periods of conversation.

🏝️ Benefits

• Paid Training (weeks 1-3) at $11 per hour (or state minimum wage, whichever is higher).

• After completing 3 weeks of training, the base wage is $16 per hour, with the possibility of earning up to $20 per hour through bonuses.

• A retention bonus of $250 is available after 4 weeks, contingent upon maintaining active status in good standing and performance (working 80 hours in the pay period with earnings above $20 RPH).

• A bonus of $500 is available after 7 weeks, based upon active status in good standing and performance (full-time status with at least 64 hours worked in the pay period).
