This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Acquire new business opportunities with leading Manufacturing accounts.
• Assist customers in enhancing their business outcomes through the implementation of Cognite Data Fusion.
• Formulate and implement a territory strategy aimed at boosting bookings growth and attracting new clients.
• Actively prospect and create a new pipeline utilizing personal networks.
• Offer commercial insights to potential clients regarding Cognite’s solutions and customer value chains.
• Oversee intricate sales cycles and guide the extended territory team.
• Employ value-selling methodologies and showcase Cognite’s solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and business terms with large enterprises, emphasizing value and ROI.
• Meet bookings targets and foster satisfied, referenceable customers.
• Precisely forecast monthly and quarterly performance outcomes.
• Regularly maintain updates in Salesforce.
• Contribute feedback to product management, marketing, and other corporate departments.
• Present and demonstrate solutions both in-person and through web-based presentations.
• Travel approximately 50% to client locations and US offices.
• Over 5 years of successful software sales experience within the Chemical Manufacturing sector.
• Proficient in articulating process and discrete manufacturing value chains, economic drivers, interdependencies, and Industry 4.0 prospects.
• Familiarity with manufacturing use cases such as yield optimization, production visibility, operator productivity, quality enhancement, predictive maintenance, and machine utilization.
• Experience with Operational Technology equipment and related software, including Honeywell Connected Plant, Emerson Plantweb/AMS, GE/Meridium APM, Aveva, Bentley, and OSIsoft PI.
• More than 5 years of direct sales experience achieving and surpassing quotas while selling enterprise software/SaaS to C-level executives.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding software/SaaS bookings targets with new clients in a direct sales capacity.
• Experience in initiating, managing, and finalizing complex sales cycles.
• Training in Command of the Message and/or MEDDPICC.
• Excellent relationship-building, customer service, written and verbal communication, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a team setting with effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Capability to assist clients in developing quantified ROI business cases.
• Understanding of Big Data technologies, data warehouses, business intelligence, and machine learning.
• Experience in start-up environments at Series A, B, or C companies.
• Bachelor's degree.
