Telemedicine Veterinarian Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Overseeing our portal, performing scheduled visits, handling teletriage requests, and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

• Conducting video and chat consultations regarding health issues in dogs and cats.

• Completing follow-up tasks, including case documentation and administrative responsibilities.

• Ensuring adherence to Airvet’s best practices, service-level agreements (SLAs), and visit protocols.

• Collaborating with internal teams to enhance processes and tackle operational challenges.

• Accepting additional responsibilities as required to assist the Care Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a veterinarian.

• DVM or an equivalent qualification.

• An active Veterinarian License in the United States or a Canadian Province license.

• Must maintain your own active personal professional liability insurance.

• A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace are essential.

• A smartphone and either a desktop computer or a laptop are required.

• Attention to detail with a strong capacity to adhere to training and protocols.

• Comfortable utilizing desktop and mobile applications; highly skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).

• Self-driven and capable of working independently with sound judgment.

• Adaptable and invigorated by a fast-paced, dynamic startup atmosphere.

• A compassionate communicator and innovative problem-solver dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences.
