This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
• Conduct patient consultations through secure video conferencing platforms.
• Create personalized treatment strategies for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.
• Prescribe and oversee medication, ensuring comprehensive patient education regarding side effects and potential interactions.
• Monitor patient progress with regular follow-up appointments and modify care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation while efficiently managing prescription refills and inquiries.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated, high-quality care.
• Uphold full compliance with HIPAA regulations and remain informed about telemedicine laws and employment regulations.
• Promptly report quality concerns and participate in necessary training to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health.
• At least 3 years of experience in mental health, or a minimum of 5 years in primary care, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating in both adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Expert proficiency with the DSM-5 and various assessment tools (such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9).
• Skilled in utilizing EHR systems and possess a solid understanding of state-specific telemedicine regulations.
• A compassionate communicator with high emotional intelligence, committed to making healthcare accessible to diverse communities.
• Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic telehealth setting.
• Graduation from a recognized U.S. medical school or a foreign medical school with ECFMG certification is required.
• Must possess either a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry is essential.
• Board certified (or board eligible, as applicable).
• A current, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
