Telemedicine Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Conduct patient consultations through secure video conferencing.

• Create personalized treatment plans for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorders.

• Prescribe and oversee medications while providing comprehensive patient education on potential side effects and interactions.

• Monitor patient progress with regular follow-ups and modify care plans as necessary.

• Keep accurate and timely medical records, and efficiently handle prescription refills and inquiries.

• Collaborate with other providers to deliver integrated and high-quality care.

• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and stay updated on telemedicine laws and employment standards.

• Report quality concerns promptly and participate in mandatory training to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in mental health, or at least 5+ years in primary care.

• Advanced proficiency in DSM-5 and assessment tools (such as GAD-7, PHQ-9, etc.).

• Skilled in using EHR systems.

• Strong knowledge of state-specific telemedicine regulations.

• A compassionate communicator with high emotional intelligence.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced telehealth setting.

• Graduate of an accredited U.S. medical school or a foreign medical school with ECFMG certification.

• Must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

• Successful completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Psychiatry.

• Board certified (or board eligible, if applicable).

• Possession of a current, unrestricted state medical license.

• Active DEA license and any relevant state-controlled substance license(s).
