Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through video consultations.

• Create tailored treatment strategies for individual patients.

• Work in conjunction with a diverse healthcare team.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness through evidence-based approaches.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely chart completion.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Provide a minimum of 10–20 hours per week for patient interactions, including consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically indicated.

• Manage conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.

• Broaden expertise in the field of women's healthcare.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Current national board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women’s health issues.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic skills and critical thinking.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in the latest clinical research.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state where there is a current hiring need.

• Multistate licensure or the ability to obtain licensure across states through the IMLC is required.
