Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through video consultations

• Create tailored treatment strategies

• Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team

• Fulfill necessary training requirements and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices

• Instruct patients on preventive care and wellness through evidence-based methods

• Keep precise and current patient records

• Complete documentation in a timely fashion

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications

• Offer consultations and medical advice, including prescriptions when clinically suitable

• Commit to a minimum of 10–20 hours of patient-facing activities each week, based on hiring requirements

• Concentrate clinically on PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

• Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine

• At least 2 years of uninterrupted clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician specializing in women’s health

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with solid diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, conveying compassion and clarity

• Capacity to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment

• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practice

• Proficient in EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states

• At least one active license must be in a state currently experiencing a hiring need

• Multistate licensure or eligibility for licensure across states via the IMLC

• Willingness to broaden expertise across a wider spectrum of women’s health care
