Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans via video consultations.

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Instruct patients on preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise, up-to-date patient records and ensure timely documentation.

• Respond thoughtfully and empathetically to patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Provide a minimum of 10–20 patient-facing hours weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing as clinically indicated.

• Treat and enhance knowledge in women’s health issues, including PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women’s health conditions.

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, highlighting compassion and clarity.

• Capability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practice.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Current, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state that currently has a hiring need.

• Multistate licensure, or eligibility for licensing across states through the IMLC, is required.
