Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in partnership with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to Allara's clinical protocols, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Offer a minimum of 10–20 hours of patient-facing care each week, including consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically warranted.

• Provide care specifically focused on women's hormonal and metabolic health issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution.

• Current national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women's health issues.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with excellent diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based clinical practices.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional licensure in one or more U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state currently hiring.

• Multistate licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure across states through the IMLC.

• Willingness to broaden expertise in various aspects of women's healthcare.

• Required experience in treating PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto's, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.
