Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients and create tailored treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methods.

• Keep precise and current patient records, ensuring timely chart completion.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Offer a minimum of 10–20 hours of patient-facing services weekly, which includes consultations, medical advice, and prescribing when clinically suitable.

• Treat and enhance knowledge in areas such as PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Valid national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician with a focus on women's health issues.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with robust diagnostic skills and critical thinking abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity.

• Proficient in establishing trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based practice grounded in up-to-date clinical research.

• Comfortable using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications.

• Possess active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional licenses in one or more U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state currently experiencing a hiring demand.

• Multistate licensure or eligibility for licensing across states via the IMLC is mandatory.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
