Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans through video consultations.

• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Complete necessary training and adhere to clinical policies, standards, and best practices.

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Ensure accurate and current patient records are maintained, with prompt completion of charting.

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications.

• Offer 10–20 hours of patient-facing time each week, including consultations and medical advice, with prescribing when clinically appropriate.

• Broaden knowledge in various aspects of women’s healthcare.

• Manage conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine.

• A minimum of 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician focused on women's health issues.

• Demonstrated capability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with empathy and clarity.

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment.

• Dedication to evidence-based care grounded in current clinical research.

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools.

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states.

• At least one active license must be in a state that currently has a hiring need.

• Multistate licensure, or eligibility for licensure across states via the IMLC, is required.

• Previous telehealth experience is advantageous.
