Telemedicine Internal/Family Medicine MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations through video consultations

• Create tailored treatment strategies

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary care team

• Complete all necessary training and adhere to Allara’s clinical policies, standards, and best practices

• Inform patients about preventive care and wellness using evidence-based approaches

• Keep precise and current patient records

• Ensure timely completion of charting

• Address patient inquiries and administrative communications

• Offer at least 10–20 hours of patient-facing time per week, encompassing consultations and medical guidance

• Prescribe medications when clinically warranted

• Broaden expertise in various aspects of women's health care

• Manage conditions such as PCOS, hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s, metabolic syndrome, menopause/perimenopause/HRT, PMDD, obesity/weight management, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and mild-to-moderate anxiety/depression

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a recognized institution

• Active national board certification in Internal or Family Medicine

• At least 2 years of continuous clinical experience as an Internal or Family Medicine Physician concentrating on women’s health issues

• Demonstrated ability to operate as an independent provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking capabilities

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating compassion and clarity

• Ability to establish trust and rapport with patients in a virtual environment

• Dedication to evidence-based clinical methodologies

• Proficient in using EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling applications

• Active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in one or more U.S. states

• At least one active license must be in a state with an immediate hiring need

• Multistate licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure across states through the IMLC is mandatory
