Telehealth Therapist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct group therapy sessions within an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), overseeing a caseload across various weekly groups.

• Deliver individual therapy to support each patient's progress in treatment.

• Facilitate family engagement sessions to enhance support systems and ensure continuity of care.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments for treatment planning and level-of-care decisions.

• Create and revise master treatment plans with specific, measurable goals in collaboration with patients and the care team.

• Utilize clinical judgment during crises, including risk assessment, de-escalation, and evaluating suicide risk.

• Communicate with referral sources and families about patient progress and continuity of care.

• Manage step-down and discharge planning, connecting patients with legal, financial, and vocational resources.

• Deliver consistent clinical care from intake through to discharge.

• Ensure comprehensive and timely clinical documentation throughout all care phases.


⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unrestricted clinical license; LPC, LCSW, or LMFT is highly preferred, or a relevant state equivalent.

• Associate/Intern-level, pre-licensed credentials are acceptable for Professional Counseling, Social Work, and Marriage & Family Therapy paths.

• Licensure in Colorado or Alaska is mandatory upon hiring.

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or a related human services discipline.

• Strong preference for active clinical licensure in three or more states.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as business needs evolve.

• Over two years of clinical experience working with substance use disorder and/or mental health populations is highly preferred.

• Preferred experience in IOP-level-of-care settings.

• Familiarity with Kipu EMR systems is preferred.

• Experience managing a full caseload virtually is preferred.

• A solid understanding of clinical standards of care for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

• Proficient clinical judgment and crisis intervention capabilities, including risk assessment and de-escalation.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills with a keen attention to regulatory and confidentiality standards.

• Capability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining engaged with a collaborative care team.
