Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative methodology.

• Apply Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources in patient care.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and create tailored, root-cause care plans.

• Design and adapt personalized nutrition interventions according to patient requirements and objectives.

• Record new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform.

• Address patient communications promptly, professionally, and supportively.

• Engage in collaborative case discussions, meetings, and shared learning experiences.

• Communicate transparently to resolve work-related challenges and enhance team outcomes.

• Foster a positive team atmosphere and contribute to ongoing clinical initiatives.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Keep abreast of emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health.

• Manage a full and consistent patient caseload with timely follow-ups and continuity of care.

• Maintain a minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability, with the potential to transition into a higher-hour or full-time schedule.

• Report directly to the Clinical Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• Minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability.

• Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required prior to start; credentialing may take 3–6 months.

• Candidates should not hold an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Evening appointment availability is highly preferred.

• CDCES certification is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certification preferred; IFNCP credential is a bonus; candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are welcome.
