Telehealth Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth medical nutrition therapy utilizing a functional and integrative approach.

• Apply Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources in patient care.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and formulate personalized, root-cause care plans.

• Design and adjust tailored nutrition interventions based on individual patient needs and goals.

• Record new and follow-up appointments using the Healthie platform.

• Address patient inquiries promptly, professionally, and supportively.

• Collaborate with colleagues through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning experiences.

• Communicate openly and effectively to address work-related challenges and enhance team outcomes.

• Foster a positive, collaborative team atmosphere and engage in ongoing clinical initiatives.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

• Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups and continuity of care.

• Maintain a minimum availability of 12 hours weekly, with the potential to increase to a full-time schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) certification.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical nutrition care.

• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

• Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• Availability of at least 12 hours each week.

• Strong enthusiasm for integrative and functional nutrition.

• Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required prior to start; credentialing may take 3–6 months.

• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certified / IFNCP credential is a plus; candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training are welcome.

• Preference for evening appointment availability.

• Must not operate an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Keen attention to detail in documentation is essential.

• Proficiency in using the Healthie platform.

• Ability to communicate with patients in a timely, professional, and supportive manner.

• Capacity to collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning opportunities.

• Commitment to staying updated with emerging research and best practices in nutrition and health.
