Telehealth Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Maine Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Perform patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), as well as prescribe and monitor patient outcomes through telemedicine.

• Recommend modifications to treatment plans based on patient reactions to medication and overall treatment results.

• Collaborate with member psychotherapists at Journey Clinical for integrated care.

• Partner with the Journey Clinical care coordinator to enhance your workflow efficiency.

• Provide timely and candid feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to help enhance our services.

• Report directly to the Lead Clinician and work closely with the leadership team and co-founders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice in Connecticut.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of psychiatric experience as a PMHNP.

• Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric-related experience post-boards.

• DEA registration required.

• Must be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate.

• Should be at ease prescribing for anxiety and depression.

• Ability to rapidly synthesize medical and psychiatric information about patients to create effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations.

• Patient-centered mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering the highest quality of patient care.

• Willingness to utilize a few straightforward tools to simplify your workflow (e.g., Slack, G Suite, Zoom, etc.).

• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced Telehealth startup environment.

• Genuine interest in the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to revolutionize mental health care.
