Telehealth Physician / Nurse Practitioner, Weight Management, Metabolic Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual consultations with patients (both synchronous and asynchronous, as needed)

• Examine patient intake documents, medical histories, and lab results

• Assess medical necessity and prescribe appropriate treatments in compliance with state and federal laws

• Provide continuous clinical oversight, follow-ups, and necessary adjustments

• Accurately document all interactions, decisions, and prescriptions in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Work collaboratively with care coordinators and internal teams to enhance patient adherence and outcomes

• Ensure compliance with all relevant telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards

• Actively participate as a clinical member of LumiMeds’ physician group

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with a valid, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Eligibility to practice telemedicine in licensed states

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority (for Nurse Practitioners)

• Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent for Nurse Practitioners)

• Compliance with state telehealth practice requirements (for Nurse Practitioners)

• Licensed in multiple U.S. states (30+ state coverage is highly preferred)

• Previous telehealth experience is a plus

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based weight management and metabolic health

• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation abilities, and attention to detail

• Comfortable in a collaborative, remote-first working environment
