
Telehealth Physician Assistant – Eating Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Oversee a substantial patient case load.
• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders alongside co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation available).
• Execute medication treatment strategies for eating disorders and related conditions in a virtual clinic environment (i.e., telehealth).
• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team, including physicians, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, family mentors, and external providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging to assist patients and liaise with the treatment team via Equip EMR, adhering to Equip’s policies and procedures.
• Participate actively in treatment team meetings, supervision, and departmental gatherings.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
• Capability to maintain active Physician Assistant licenses and pursue cross-licensing as necessary (license costs to be covered by Equip).
• A minimum of 3 years experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient environment, with a preference for Primary Care experience.
• Show a strong commitment to delivering excellent evidence-based care, enhancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional growth.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their caregivers, ensuring timely responses to messages.
• Possess curiosity, a love for learning, and engage enthusiastically and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
