Telehealth Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth outpatient medical nutrition therapy utilizing an integrative and functional methodology.

• Execute Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational resources.

• Evaluate patients’ nutritional health and formulate tailored, root-cause care strategies.

• Design and adjust personalized nutrition interventions.

• Record new and follow-up appointments in Healthie.

• Address patient communications promptly.

• Collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared knowledge.

• Resolve work-related challenges and contribute to team success.

• Participate in clinical initiatives and foster a positive team atmosphere.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

• Keep abreast of nutrition and health research and best practices.

• Manage a full patient caseload with timely follow-ups and consistent care.

• Establish ongoing one-on-one relationships with patients through virtual care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN).

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care.

• Current registration with CDR.

• Credentialed or willing to become credentialed with insurance providers.

• Pennsylvania license and completion of major insurance credentialing required prior to employment.

• Strong interest in integrative and functional nutrition.

• No active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business.

• Availability for evening appointments is highly preferred.

• CDCES certification is strongly preferred.

• IFNA Certification is preferred; IFNCP credential is a plus.

• Candidates currently enrolled in IFNA training are welcome.

• Excellent attention to detail for documentation in Healthie.

• Capability to provide personalized, root-cause nutrition care.

• Ability to manage a full and stable patient caseload.

• Promptly and professionally respond to patient communications in a supportive manner.
