This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to city, county, TXDOT, railroad, pole, and right-of-way agencies utilizing data supplied by field crews.
• Collaborate with municipalities, contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to facilitate project scope and meet permitting needs.
• Perform site and field data assessments to evaluate the feasibility of network installations and service routes.
• Investigate and implement relevant regulations, including NESC and jurisdictional permitting standards.
• Examine maps, utility records, and field data to confirm the accuracy of submitted applications and SOW packages.
• Monitor permit status, maintain comprehensive documentation, and ensure adherence to client-specific standards and SLAs.
• Assist in network planning activities, including basic capacity assessments, infrastructure requirements, and expansion considerations.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Over 3 years of experience in telecommunications, utility, construction, engineering, or electrical settings.
• Solid understanding of municipal permitting processes and utility infrastructure initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation management.
• Basic knowledge of CAD drafting software is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with right-of-way, easements, and jurisdictional agencies.
