Telecom Revit Designer – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design of low-voltage, telecommunications, security, and audio/visual systems within intricate data center settings.

• Utilize CAD/BIM tools to aid in cable routing, equipment layouts, and the design of communication systems.

• Aid in the layout of telecom, security, and A/V systems, encompassing MDF/IDF/Demarc rooms and horizontal cabling design.

• Participate in project design activities under the guidance of senior team members.

• Facilitate cross-disciplinary coordination to ensure precision and design consistency.

• Engage in discussions with clients.

• Conduct occasional site visits for field verification and to monitor project progress.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and adeptness in problem-solving.

• Associate degree in Drafting/Design is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience with CAD/BIM; proficiency in Revit is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Cellular DAS, PSDAS, ROIP, or ERRCS is a plus.

• Eagerness to enhance telecom design skills, particularly in complex drawing layouts and industry standards.

• Aspiration to pursue RCDD certification in the future.
