Telecom Revenue Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct Revenue Assurance audits for designated telecommunications clients to pinpoint billing inaccuracies, potential revenue loss, and opportunities for under-billing.

• Examine and reconcile data related to customer revenue, billing, provisioning, ordering, invoices, and contracts.

• Utilize anomaly detection, trend analysis, contract evaluation, order-to-bill analysis, and invoice verification to uncover billing inconsistencies.

• Assess whether discrepancies signify actual revenue loss or under-billing.

• Confirm billing issues by investigating contracts, orders, provisioning documents, invoices, and billing regulations.

• Work alongside client teams to rectify inaccurate billing through ordering and billing procedures.

• Monitor opportunities, corrections, and financial outcomes via client portals and internal dashboards.

• Oversee revenue assurance opportunities and ensure that corrections are executed and reflected in billing.

• Compile analytical reports, findings, and supporting documentation for internal and client inquiries.

• Achieve performance, productivity, and revenue recovery goals and report on progress.

• Present findings, financial implications, and root causes to both technical and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying patterns, investigating anomalies, and determining root causes.

• Proficient in handling and analyzing large, complex datasets from various sources.

• Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry, especially in customer ordering, provisioning, billing, contracts, and revenue processes.

• Capability to interpret telecommunications contracts, service orders, invoices, and billing records.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies across multiple systems and data sources.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reconciliation, filtering, formulas, and reporting.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, including querying and analyzing data.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.

• Ability to learn and navigate client portals, billing systems, ordering systems, and internal tracking/reporting tools.

• Skill in translating technical and analytical findings into clear business conclusions and actionable recommendations.

• Bachelor's Degree.
