This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the Clinical Advisor for the TEG product line, focusing on customer engagement and driving growth within the assigned territory.
• Assist in account management sales processes by providing clinical education and continuous case support.
• Foster sales growth in current accounts while supporting the launch of new accounts.
• Oversee the territory encompassing the existing TEG customer base.
• Enhance product usage and expand the customer network through clinical education and revenue enhancement.
• Educate both new and existing customers on all product and clinical features of the TEG line.
• Deliver onsite support across various clinical settings, including laboratories, critical care, and operating rooms.
• Ensure customers can operate TEG equipment, software, and associated disposables independently, safely, and effectively, as well as interpret TEG results.
• Offer clinical expertise to position the TEG product line as a standard of care within accounts, utilizing CRM tools and market insights.
• Build relationships with clinicians, deliver educational presentations, support clinical cases, respond to end-user inquiries, and organize market development events.
• Visit hospital accounts to identify and train clinical champions, establishing rapport with key decision-makers.
• Provide dedicated onsite assistance for new customers during their go-live phase, including after-hours support.
• Investigate and resolve technical, operational, and clinical issues faced by customers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated on professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, professional organizations, and conferences.
• Maintain records of customers and territory in the CRM tool.
• Support clinicians in VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, high-risk obstetrics, liver transplant, vascular, and critical care areas.
• Assist customers in customizing product training materials to meet their specific needs.
• Analyze competitive landscape and convert existing account opportunities into TEG business.
• Collaborate with Account Managers for account expansion and quarterly/monthly revenue forecasts.
• Provide support at regional and national trade shows.
• Stimulate demand for device, software, and add-on device upgrades.
• Aid in laboratory installation, validation, verification, training, competency, SOP, IQCP development, donor sourcing, logistics, ordering, and interfacing needs.
• Build multi-level relationships, including with C-level executives, within the territory.
• Engage in product development, market needs assessment, quality investigations, and launches, providing feedback to sales, marketing, and R&D.
• Execute supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, developing, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining staff, and resolving complaints and issues.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Nursing (RN) or a related clinical field of study (Required).
• Over 3 years of industry or clinically related experience, ideally in complex medical devices and/or critical care environments.
• Proven written communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication and listening abilities.
• Ability to persuade and demonstrated experience in driving product adoption.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with clinicians at a high level.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of hemostasis management is essential.
• High technical/clinical aptitude to educate customers and users on products, including operating the TEG® Analyzer, understanding results application, and software manipulation.
• Willingness to travel domestically for approximately 25% of the time.
• Capacity to meet physical demands, including lifting/moving up to 10 pounds and exposure to blood.
