This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of comprehensive program management for simultaneous initiatives within Information Security, Technology (IT & Infrastructure/Platform), and AI, ensuring constant visibility into scope, schedule, dependencies, and status.
• Create and manage project plans, milestones, and delivery timelines utilizing tools such as Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
• Anticipate risks, obstacles, and scheduling conflicts across workstreams, bringing them to the attention of relevant stakeholders before they impact delivery.
• Keep an updated RACI matrix for all active programs, ensuring clear ownership and addressing accountability gaps.
• Organize scheduling, agendas, and follow-ups for cross-functional working sessions, program reviews, and stakeholder meetings involving G&A, R&D, and InfoSec/Technology.
• Oversee action item tracking and follow-ups for all programs, ensuring commitments are documented, responsibilities assigned, and deadlines adhered to.
• Act as the operational coordinator for AI initiatives—managing meeting schedules, tracking action items and decisions, and ensuring task follow-through.
• Create and maintain program status dashboards and executive-level reports for stakeholders.
• Generate regular program health reports highlighting progress, risks, and necessary decisions in a format suitable for various audiences.
• Manage communications with stakeholders regarding program milestones, delays, and escalations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination.
• Develop and uphold metrics frameworks for IT and Information Security functions, monitoring operational KPIs, SLA performance, and program velocity.
• Craft reporting to consistently present program and operational metrics to leadership.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT management to establish meaningful metrics that reflect program health beyond mere activity.
• Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience in a technology or IT context.
• PMP certification is required (or must be actively pursuing with completion anticipated within 12 months).
• Proven capability to independently manage multiple concurrent programs with minimal supervision.
• Experience in developing and maintaining RACI matrices, project plans, and executive status reports across intricate cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient in at least one project management tool—Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
• Background in metrics reporting and data visualization utilizing Tableau, Snowflake, or similar BI tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft concise summaries and facilitate working sessions with equal proficiency.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where structures often need to be created rather than inherited.
• Experience in Information Security, IT operations, or project governance programs within a technology setting.
