This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical inventory management of desktops, laptops, hard drives, mobile devices, computer peripherals, servers, networking equipment, and various other infrastructure hardware.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across the organization, including operations in India and the Philippines.

• Strategize the procurement of assets to ensure adequate stock levels in all locations.

• Administer tracking systems and serve as a liaison between departments.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory while minimizing loss by applying best practices in supply chain management.

• Conduct initial assessments of hardware requests and escalate to IT or business management when necessary.

• Collaborate with other teams to help identify standard devices for smaller scenarios.

• Create and uphold standardized processes and documentation for asset tracking.

• Work alongside IT support teams to guarantee timely deployment and recovery of equipment.

• Monitor orders, warranties, maintenance agreements, and vendor performance.

• Assist in internal and external audits related to IT assets and inventory management.

• Produce regular reports on inventory and asset utilization.

• Discover opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, tracking accuracy, and asset lifecycle management.

• Aid in the implementation and optimization of asset management tools and processes.

• Place orders for hardware needs through the Ariba system.

• Plan for the disposal of retired assets.

• Collaborate with the Desktop team to assist in the preparation for deployment and testing of equipment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in an inventory management role.

• Proficient in using a computer and other office technologies, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with inventory management software.

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

• Strong communication skills.

• Experience with enterprise asset management tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, JAMF, or similar systems.

• Understanding of ITIL practices and asset governance standards.

• Experience in supporting logistics for remote workforce hardware.

• Knowledge of data center or infrastructure hardware environments.
