This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Drive revenue growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with customers, vendors, and channels.
• Oversee the complete business-development lifecycle from prospecting and discovery to solution development, vendor coordination, proposals, negotiation, and implementation handoff.
• Sell technology solutions and services provided by vendors across areas such as managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, hardware, software, telecommunications, connectivity, unified communications, contact centers, and SD-WAN.
• Meet and exceed established targets for Monthly Recurring Revenue, sales activity, pipeline, revenue, meetings, and First-Time Appointments.
• Cultivate and sustain a robust pipeline of technology solutions and revenue opportunities.
• Engage with prospective and existing customers to gain insights into their business needs, technology environments, technical requirements, and challenges.
• Conduct customer discovery sessions to pinpoint suitable vendor products, services, and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical teams, Sales, Service, and vendor partners to scope and develop technically viable solutions.
• Create and submit strategic, solution-oriented proposals and quotes that reflect customer needs, technologies, vendor solutions, pricing, and business value.
• Maintain relationships with technology vendors, distributors, master agents, and strategic partners.
• Keep accurate records of customer, vendor, quote, pipeline, and sales activities in HubSpot, ConnectWise, and other designated systems.
• Monitor opportunities, conversion activities, vendor performance, and market trends, providing leadership with relevant insights.
• Facilitate the handoff of closed opportunities to Service or implementation teams and support the transition through implementation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance technology offerings, strengthen vendor partnerships, and generate additional revenue.
• Represent the company at vendor events, conferences, trade shows, networking events, and other business development activities.
• Document key workflows and role-specific knowledge through approved SOPs and perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in vendor management, account management, business development, technology sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining effective business relationships with vendors, customers, and/or strategic partners.
• Experience in developing sales pipelines, identifying business opportunities, and supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, including opportunity and pipeline management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other business productivity tools.
• Experience in the Information Technology, SD-WAN, connectivity, telecommunications, or related technology sectors.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience may be accepted.
• Strong technical aptitude and comprehension of IT products, services, infrastructure, and solutions.
• Working knowledge of connectivity, unified communications, telecommunications, contact centers, and SD-WAN.
• Ability to understand and assess technical specifications, vendor solutions, licensing requirements, product capabilities, pricing, and solution compatibility.
• Excellent skills in communication, consultative solution selling, negotiation, influencing, presentation, prioritization, time management, and organization.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technical teams, vendors, customers, Sales, Engineering, and Service teams.
• Capacity to quickly learn and maintain knowledge of new technologies, vendor platforms, product portfolios, industry trends, and emerging solutions.
