This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software systems and equipment for customers.
• Serve as the service representative for assigned clients.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance.
• Ensure customer satisfaction is consistently maintained.
• Manage inventory, equipment, and parts to address service requests in a timely manner.
• Execute installations, repairs, modifications, and designated equipment tasks at customer locations.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments.
• Fulfill administrative, reporting, and mandatory training obligations.
• Transport packages to courier depots or airports during emergencies or after courier pickup hours.
• Engage in commercial showcase events.
• Support the sales team as a service representative during negotiations and equipment performance reviews at headquarters and chain levels.
• Promote a culture of excellence and prioritize customer service.
• Adhere to McKesson Canada's LeadRX and ICARE principles.
• College degree in Electronics, Robotics, or Electro-mechanics.
• Over 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to uphold high customer satisfaction standards.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and robotic systems, including troubleshooting and repair, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of complex electronic control systems, along with troubleshooting and repair experience, is a plus.
• Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is beneficial.
• Background in hospital automation and healthcare automation is an asset.
• Capability to learn and understand McKesson APS equipment functions and apply that knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective customer service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Relevant experience in frontline, field-based technical customer service is an asset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-first mentality, team-oriented approach, and a positive attitude are essential.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work autonomously in field settings.
• Collaboration skills to work with various departments to achieve objectives and resolve customer issues.
• Must be perfectly bilingual, both written and spoken.
• A valid driving license is required and must be maintained.
• Must provide own vehicle for work-related responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the region and occasionally across Canada.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend on-call support and installations.
• Physical capability to lift boxes and equipment weighing up to 30 kg and perform installation tasks in cabinetry and elevated areas.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is necessary for supporting clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States.
