This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +4 more countries.
• Respond to incoming phone calls and deliver exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Capture, document, and organize inquiries received from patients.
• Assist with the intake process for new patients by gathering and organizing necessary information.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments for both new and existing patients.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of patient and administrative records within the Jane EHR system.
• Provide support for verifying insurance eligibility and benefits as needed.
• Manage calendars and handle general administrative duties effectively.
• Keep organized records and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Lead weekly update meetings to communicate progress, priorities, and any outstanding needs.
• Anticipate needs, take initiative, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Adapt to changing operational requirements and take on additional tasks as necessary.
• Potentially assist with outreach efforts to referral sources and the development of partnerships.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office administrative role.
• Extensive knowledge of working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ideally Jane or a comparable healthcare EHR platform.
• Strong customer service skills and experience in answering phone calls professionally.
• Experience in managing patient intake processes effectively.
• Familiarity with patient scheduling and rescheduling practices.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Relevant work experience in administrative or patient support roles.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly and professionally, both spoken and written.
• Fluency in Spanish and comfort in communicating with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
• Must provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance/background check prior to onboarding.
• Availability for video meetings with the camera on as needed.
• Must be available Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM CDT.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer is required.
• A stable high-speed internet connection, with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps.
• A noise-canceling headset is necessary.
• A working webcam is essential.
• A quiet and professional work environment is mandatory.
