This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, revise, and uphold technical documentation, program materials, implementation guides, white papers, literature summaries, SOPs, training resources, website content, and informational fact sheets.
• Work collaboratively with subject matter experts, clinicians, researchers, program managers, communications professionals, and federal stakeholders to collect information, verify accuracy, address feedback, and ensure alignment with program objectives.
• Design and manage reusable content assets, including sanctioned language libraries, evidence tables, FAQ collections, plain-language modules, executive-summary templates, audience-specific messaging maps, and review-ready document frameworks.
• Assist with content strategy, message formulation, stakeholder review cycles, version control, quality assurance, and document management across several simultaneous deliverables.
• Outline data flow between integrated applications and map business process activities to application dependencies alongside Product Owners, Architects, and technical resources.
• Conduct functional allocation to pinpoint necessary tasks and their interconnections.
• Aid in organizing design sessions, documenting notes, and following up with stakeholders to ensure action items are addressed.
• Revise technical documents based on design session outcomes, technical specifications, and documentation provided by stakeholders.
• Finalize documentation updates in readiness for formal submission of deliverables.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
• Around five (5)+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, or technical communications.
• Proficient in writing clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of structured content, content reuse, modular writing, metadata tagging, document templates, content-management systems, collaboration platforms, reference-management tools, and workflow automation.
• Capability to establish repeatable writing workflows with audit-ready traceability from source evidence to final text.
• Comfortable assessing emerging tools for suitability, risk, security, usability, accessibility, source traceability, federal stakeholder requirements, and quality-control responsibilities.
• Strong grasp of technical terminology, healthcare delivery systems, and principles of health communications.
• Experience in developing or editing technical reports, clinical guidance, educational materials, web content, program documentation, training resources, or executive-level briefing documents.
• Excellent command of grammar, structure, tone, plain language, and document organization.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deliverables, deadlines, review cycles, and stakeholder inputs concurrently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and collaborative document review tools.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
