Technical Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the comprehensive creation and upkeep of documentation for intricate product features, APIs, integrations, and multi-system workflows.

• Enhance business results by elevating the quality, usability, and scalability of documentation, thereby improving the customer experience and internal efficiency.

• Collaborate across various functions with Product Managers, Engineers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Training teams to establish documentation scope and deliverables.

• Transform complex, unclear, or incomplete technical inputs into well-defined, structured, and actionable documentation.

• Implement and refine structured content strategies (such as modular content and reusable components) to boost consistency and scalability.

• Continuously enhance documentation standards, templates, and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.

• Conduct content reviews and editing to guarantee clarity, consistency, accuracy, and usability across all documentation.

• Lead documentation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategies, scope, and timelines.

• Guide junior writers, offer peer reviews, and contribute to raising the overall quality and standards of the team.

• Oversee multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in Technical Writing or Technical Communication.

• Familiarity with structured content methodologies and documentation frameworks.

• Proven experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to analyze technical systems, workflows, and APIs effectively.

• Strong proficiency in editing and content review.
