This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Produce clear, concise, and precise documentation for products, services, or processes, particularly in high-tech or specialized sectors.
β’ Convert complex information into user manuals, guides, help files, white papers, and training materials tailored for specific audiences.
β’ Collaborate closely with engineers, product developers, and subject-matter experts to guarantee technical accuracy and relevance.
β’ Create and maintain technical documents, plans, procedures, reports, and deliverable packages.
β’ Coordinate inputs from subject-matter experts.
β’ Implement document-control and quality standards prior to submission.
β’ Revise documentation as products evolve.
β’ Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
β’ Must possess Secret clearance to begin.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a related field, or 2+ years of pertinent experience, or certifications relevant to the functional role.
β’ Typically, 3β5 years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience; each year of work experience may substitute for one year of required education.
β’ Exceptional writing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Ability to rapidly comprehend intricate technical concepts.
β’ Proficiency in using documentation tools.
β’ Familiarity with XML, DITA, or other markup languages.
β’ Experience with graphics and publishing software.
β’ Knowledge of document-control and quality standards.
β’ Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC), Microsoft Office Specialist, or other relevant technical-writing certifications are considered advantageous.
