This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Facilitate technical training sessions at regional and national customer sales meetings and trade shows.
• Accompany customer commercial sales managers on ride-alongs to promote and educate clients about brake pads.
• Deliver technical presentations on brake pads to audiences ranging from 20 to 100 people, both technical and non-technical.
• Educate attendees and address inquiries regarding brake friction materials, differentiation of customer brake pad lines, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and testing methods.
• Resolve customer concerns related to brake pad fit and/or functionality during client visits.
• Gain knowledge of customer commercial sales programs and promotions.
• Cultivate lasting relationships with customers.
• Organize training sessions and coordinate schedules with the customer training manager.
• Participate in annual internal company training alongside corporate, R&D, and factory teams.
• Provide timely weekly reports concerning customer visits.
• Engage in weekly team conference calls.
• Oversee the Gulf Coast Territory, which includes Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant on-the-job experience or a combination of education and experience that meets this requirement.
• Automotive technical experience focused on brake systems and repairs.
• State or ASE/Master Certifications are advantageous.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with original equipment (OE) or aftermarket brake systems and components.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and diagnostic processes.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Capability to negotiate effectively and make informed decisions promptly and confidently.
• Ability to influence others and navigate through issues or conflicts.
• Highly organized, results-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proficient in client interaction while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Strong dedication to customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
• Experience in instructional training—either classroom or on-the-job preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%, across various locations in the US.
