This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Provide training to automotive brake pad clients in the Gulf Coast Territory, covering AL, MS, LA, AR, and TN.
• Facilitate technical training sessions at regional and national customer sales meetings and trade exhibitions.
• Join customer commercial sales managers on ride-alongs to promote and inform clients about brake pads.
• Deliver technical presentations on brake pads to both technical and non-technical audiences ranging from 20 to 100 participants.
• Instruct attendees on brake friction materials, distinguishing brake pad lines, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and testing methods.
• Address customer concerns related to brake pad compatibility and performance during visits.
• Gain knowledge of customers' commercial sales initiatives and promotional activities.
• Foster enduring relationships with clients.
• Organize and coordinate training sessions and schedules alongside the customer training manager.
• Participate in annual internal company training involving corporate, R&D, and factory teams.
• Submit timely weekly reports regarding customer visits.
• Engage in weekly team conference calls.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for presenting information in a structured format.
• Strong writing and presentation skills, capable of engaging and communicating with an audience in diverse environments.
• Understanding of original equipment or aftermarket brake systems and components.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnostic procedures.
• Outstanding communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to negotiate and make timely, confident decisions.
• Ability to influence and guide the decisions of others while effectively resolving conflicts.
• Highly organized, results-oriented, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced setting.
• Capacity to interact with clients and project a professional demeanor.
• Strong dedication to customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
• Experience in instructional training, whether in a classroom or on-the-job setting, is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or relevant experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Technical knowledge in automotive brake systems and repairs.
• State or ASE/Master Certifications are advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75%, to various locations across the US.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
