This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Engage in Daily Coding: Dedicate over 50% of your time to developing scalable solutions using Node.js, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Utilize AI Significantly: Develop AI processes that are utilized company-wide to enhance delivery speed and quality.
• Address Real Challenges: From mobile applications to enterprise workflow automation, our users create impactful solutions.
• Lead the Team: Manage a group of 7 engineers and QA specialists, influencing architectural choices, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices.
• Enhance Our Platform: Contribute to making Fliplet faster, more intelligent, and more secure. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Customer Success, and senior leadership to translate market needs into refined, scalable code.
• Advanced-level expertise in Node.js and Vue.js/React development with a proven history of success.
• Strong skills in PostgreSQL and database design/optimization.
• Extensive practical experience with AWS (Fargate, Aurora, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Proficiency in Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with modern web technologies, APIs, microservices architecture, and responsive web design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Knowledge of security implementation and vulnerability management.
• Skills in AI coding, integration, and automation tools.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools (Datadog, etc.).
• Proficient in the Cordova framework and mobile app development for both iOS and Android.
• Over 5 years of experience leading development teams in a hands-on role.
• Background in mentoring developers and performing code reviews.
• Strong technical communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proven capability to balance technical debt with feature development priorities.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and sprint planning.
