Senior Golang Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems and engineering platforms.

• Tackle complex engineering and architectural challenges that extend beyond mere product feature delivery.

• Create production-ready solutions utilizing Go and TypeScript.

• Develop internal tools, platforms, services, and infrastructure for use by fellow engineers.

• Contribute to AI-native and agentic systems and/or the supporting infrastructure.

• Work with cloud technologies, including Azure and/or AWS.

• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical stakeholders to design robust and scalable solutions.

• Advocate for engineering best practices in architecture, reliability, and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Go (Golang) and TypeScript.

• Demonstrated ability to solve intricate engineering challenges rather than merely focusing on feature delivery.

• Strong platform engineering mindset with experience in creating tools, systems, or infrastructure relied upon by other engineers.

• Hands-on experience in building AI-native, AI, or agentic systems, or developing infrastructure/platforms for AI workloads.

• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS; experience with both is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, system design, scalability, and reliability.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

• Fluent in English.

• Currently residing in Portugal or Brazil.
