This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ You will be positioned at the convergence of product development, engineering, and delivery, facilitating the team's swift progress while ensuring the right solutions are built.
β’ Engage in development: Remain actively involved with the codebase, contributing to the design and creation of scalable, dependable systems.
β’ Influence our building process: Collaborate with other technical leaders and the CTPO to shape and advance our engineering strategy, architecture, and foundational platforms.
β’ Harness AI for efficiency: Investigate and implement methods to utilize AI tools that enhance developer productivity and expedite delivery.
β’ Take charge of delivery: Work closely with Product and Design teams to dissect challenges, plan effectively, and ensure successful product launches.
β’ Facilitate team progress: Maintain momentum, eliminate hurdles, and assist the team in achieving their objectives.
β’ Foster team growth: Mentor engineers, support their professional development, and cultivate a high-performing culture centered on learning, ownership, and constructive feedback.
β’ Ensure reliability and operability: Spearhead site reliability practices within the team, including observability, incident response, on-call duties, and the development of systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient.
β’ Entrepreneurial mindset: You think beyond your immediate team, caring about the product, the customer, and the business, and are driven to create a significant impact.
β’ Leadership in technical and interpersonal areas: You have experience leading or mentoring engineers and can influence technical decisions without needing to oversee everything.

β’ Familiarity with our technology stack (or similar): Proficiency in React, Ruby on Rails, AWS, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD technologies.
