This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take ownership of top-of-funnel sourcing for technical positions including Backend, Frontend, DevOps/Infrastructure, Data, and Engineering Management.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to current hiring needs as well as future talent pipeline objectives.
• Generate target company lists, market maps, and talent landscapes for critical roles and locations throughout Europe.
• Actively identify, engage, and cultivate high-quality passive candidates via LinkedIn and other pertinent channels.
• Craft highly personalized outreach messages that enhance response rates and foster genuine interest from candidates.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and Technical Recruiter to align on role specifications, candidate quality benchmarks, and target profiles.
• Execute and continuously refine sourcing experiments across messaging, channels, and candidate segments.
• Provide insights into the talent market, including candidate availability, compensation trends, competitor behaviors, and typical objections.
• Ensure robust ATS hygiene by maintaining organized, searchable, and reusable pipelines over time.
• Contribute to defining how Thrill Labs is perceived by technical talent within a niche and often misunderstood industry.
• Facilitate early candidate qualification and ensure a seamless transition into the recruiting process.
• At least 3 years of experience in sourcing for technical roles, whether in-house, in agency/search, or both.
• A proven history of successfully sourcing for high-caliber engineering roles such as Backend, DevOps/Infrastructure, distributed systems, Frontend, or engineering leadership.
• Demonstrated success in engaging passive candidates in competitive markets.
• Experience sourcing talent across various European countries.
• Strong grasp of technical profiles, technology stacks, and seniority levels; coding skills are not necessary, but recognizing strong candidates is essential.
• Capability to work with high levels of autonomy, sound judgment, and clear ownership.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create personalized and persuasive outreach messages.
• Strong process discipline, including maintaining ATS hygiene, tracking candidates, and structured talent mapping.
• Ability to translate market signals into actionable sourcing strategies.
• Confidence in partnering directly with technical leaders for profile calibration and search direction.
• Ability to credibly address candidate objections, including concerns regarding industry, startup environments, or remote setups.
• Comfortable operating with urgency and ambiguity in a remote startup or scale-up context.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
