This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for Control4 customers, providing expert support for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and return processing requirements.
• Offer basic assistance for over 80 third-party brands with minimal or no formal training.
• Deliver Tier-1 support for ADI and Snap One’s 20+ exclusive brands and solutions.
• Oversee and resolve intricate technical challenges involving audio/video distribution, home theater, commercial audio, TVs and displays, digital signage, music streaming, surveillance and security, HVAC and lighting control, home automation, video conferencing, power management, structured wiring, custom mounts, and related technologies.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, configuration processes, and knowledge base articles.
• Handle product returns in compliance with technical verification protocols.
• Engage in beta testing of new products and solutions, providing actionable insights to product teams.
• Contribute to team training efforts by sharing knowledge and techniques.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in installing and/or programming Control4 products.
• Practical experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting surveillance, professional audio/video, and other technology solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot across various product categories and technologies.
• Familiarity with IoT, audio/video, networking, home automation, and surveillance technologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick learner of new technical concepts.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-first approach.
• Control4 Automation Programmer certification or Control4 Certified Technician certification is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of networking, including VLANs, firewalls, managed switches, and enterprise wireless setups is preferred.
• Experience with ADI proprietary exclusive-brand products and platforms like OvrC, Luma, Binary, WattBox, and Clare is preferred.
• Experience with commercial and residential audio/video systems, including DSPs, projectors, and streaming solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with motorized window treatments, centralized lighting, and power management solutions is preferred.
