This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the creation and upkeep of AS-IS and TO-BE architectural models utilizing DoDAF and UAF throughout the product line.
• Construct and sustain the enterprise-level SAFe Architectural Runway, outlining shared technical foundations, architectural enablers, integration points, and cross-product functionalities.
• Create Solution Architecture Packages that encompass business, systems, application, and data architectures for new features and functionalities.
• Conduct architectural evaluations to pinpoint opportunities for reuse, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, and verify compatibility with product line standards.
• Establish and uphold an architecture repository containing vetted design patterns, reusable components, solution templates, and interface patterns.
• Offer technical advice on FHIR, ESB/EAI patterns, API integration, and requirements for enterprise interoperability.
• Assist in DevSecOps maturity evaluations and document compliance deficiencies and technical preparedness.
• Develop and maintain logical, network, and dataflow architecture diagrams, ensuring updates with each release.
• Ensure ATO compliance is factored into architectural decisions and assist in the development of Assessment & Authorization artifacts.
• Provide counsel on AWS, Azure, government cloud/Platform One architecture, and strategies for cloud migration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of enterprise architecture experience in large-scale federal IT initiatives.
• Proven expertise with DoDAF and/or UAF architectural frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in the SAFe Agile framework, including Architectural Runway and PI Planning.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of FHIR, ESB/EAI integration frameworks, and API engineering.
• Acquainted with federal technical reference models, NIST SP, and FedRAMP.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance is required.
• Experience with federal health IT systems is highly preferred.
• Preferred certifications include: Certified SAFe Architect; Red Hat Certified Engineer in Cloud-Native Applications; AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect; CISSP.
