Technical Support Engineer, Tier 1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Deliver prompt and effective technical support by responding swiftly to customer inquiries.

• Diagnose and resolve customer issues through phone and various communication channels.

• Conduct follow-ups with customers after troubleshooting to ensure complete product functionality.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to tackle complex technical challenges.

• Work closely with the product team, integrating customer feedback to enhance product features.

• Develop and maintain an internal knowledge base filled with valuable guides and solutions.

• Continuously improve and optimize the customer support process for enhanced efficiency.

• Reproduce issues reported by customers and escalate verified problems to the relevant teams.

• Attend customer meetings when necessary to troubleshoot and resolve issues directly.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess strong expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues related to failed patch installations.

• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and capability to comprehend basic scripts.

• Proficiency in Mac OS and/or Linux environments.

• Demonstrate knowledge of software deployment and configuration using installation switches.

• Skilled in reading, writing, modifying, and backing up the Windows registry.

• Previous experience in technical support or customer service roles is essential.

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with customers and internal teams.

• Solid experience in troubleshooting software issues across diverse environments.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1–C2 level) is mandatory.

• Experience with patch management solutions is preferred.

• Ability to analyze and interpret logs and event data.

• Knowledge of Windows Group Policy configuration and management is required.

• Familiarity with Windows servers and server management is an asset.

• A fundamental understanding of the Windows Security model and related protocols is necessary.

• Additional language skills, particularly in Spanish and French, would be advantageous.
