This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Support developers in assessing software created for veterans' affairs.
β’ Develop test plans with corresponding test cases derived from user stories.
β’ Create test data through manual methods.
β’ Implement test cases to assess software functionality.
β’ Record test outcomes.
β’ Relay defects to the development team.
β’ Opportunity to acquire skills in automation and development while gaining software testing experience.
β’ Familiarity with testing methodologies, QA processes, and the software release cycle.
β’ Understanding of release protocols and software defect tracking.
β’ Awareness of object-oriented programming concepts.
β’ Capability to apply relevant testing methodologies, including drafting test plans and test cases.
β’ Previous experience with federal or VA.gov digital services is highly preferred.
β’ Must be eligible to obtain a US Government Public Trust Security Clearance.
β’ Proficiency with JIRA.
β’ Experience with Selenium.
β’ Background in an Agile work environment.
β’ Knowledge of operating systems and networking.
