This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather, reconcile, organize, validate, and analyze healthcare data involved in data-processing workflows.
• Oversee and maintain data that is imported to and exported from R1 workflow systems.
• Provide support for the associated database platform.
• Supervise workflows, schedules, and metrics that govern data movement across multiple R1 workflow systems.
• Conduct daily file and account maintenance, monitoring, and backup coordination.
• Track and troubleshoot database workflow systems, escalating issues when necessary.
• Validate and process source data files while supporting data input and output across various systems and applications.
• Assist with the month-end closing procedures.
• Identify, investigate, and aid in resolving data discrepancies between client systems and R1 systems.
• Audit client data, data processes, and client statements; document findings and offer feedback.
• Troubleshoot data anomalies and lead resolution efforts.
• Communicate data discrepancies, impacts, status, and resolutions to relevant partners.
• Generate and support operational reports, statistics, and metrics.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures as workflows evolve.
• Engage in team meetings, new initiatives, and the development of efficient, standardized workflows.
• Adhere to company, client, and industry data-handling policies and best practices.
• Maintain communication with team members and leadership.
• Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications, including formulas, functions, queries, filtering, and data analysis.
• Ability to recognize discrepancy patterns and prioritize resolution efforts.
• Experience in reading and interpreting file format specifications.
• Background in performing data-quality checks, validations, and quality-assurance activities.
• Experience in manually extracting, transforming, and loading data into operational systems.
• Familiarity with extract, transform, and load (ETL) solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to extract and manipulate data from a database.
• Strong research, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to data-integration challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication, listening, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and capability to learn and utilize multiple technology resources.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Proven discretion and sound judgment when managing complex processes, decisions, and confidential or sensitive information.
• Preferred: experience working with healthcare data.
• Preferred: understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and healthcare transaction sets.
• Preferred: experience in reading and interpreting data-mapping documents.
• Preferred: experience in driving standardization and ongoing data quality enhancements.
• Preferred: experience with data management systems, including SQL-based platforms.
