Technical Support Engineer – Blockchain, Backend Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced (Tier 3) technical support, ensuring quick identification, resolution, and escalation of issues as necessary.

• Collaborate closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, DevOps, and backend developers to address code-level and system-level challenges.

• Create, develop, and maintain internal automation tools to enhance workflow and minimize manual tasks.

• Construct dashboards and monitoring solutions to oversee system performance and incident trends.

• Partner with backend teams utilizing Java / Spring Boot to troubleshoot and improve APIs and microservices.

• Document troubleshooting methods, root cause analyses, and best practices for the internal knowledge repository.

• Assist in incident management, ensuring the 24/7 reliability of Binance’s trading platform and associated systems.

• Continuously investigate new technologies and best practices within backend, automation, and Web3 infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2-10 years of experience in technical support, DevOps, or backend engineering for large-scale systems.

• Strong skills in debugging and troubleshooting across distributed systems and trading or payment platforms.

• Proficient in AI tools such as Claude Code for coding and QA; adept at writing AI Agent skills, leveraging AI for log and database analysis for troubleshooting and data evaluation; skilled in using AI agents for task management automation.

• Proficient in Java (preferred), Python, or Rust; experience with Spring Boot and microservices is advantageous.

• Practical experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP) and RESTful API troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of MySQL and performance tuning; familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively coordinate with global stakeholders.
